Simply measure the distance around the centre of each headrest and choose the matching harness size size from the chart below.
*Remember - your front and rear seat headrests may not all be the same size, so make sure you measure the headrests on all seats that you plan to use your Scuvvers on.
There when you need them and stowed when you don't, Scuvvers are convenient, compact, and easy to use.
Our NARROW seat protector is made for seats that just don't need the width of our Classic Scuvver. In particular:
- The center position on the rear seat: If you already have a Classic Scuvver on each side in the back, another one in the middle can create too much overlap and make access to the seatbelts trickier. The Narrow Scuvver is perfect for this application.
- Minibuses: Most bus seats are narrower than car seats, and our customers who operate tour buses and mountain bike shuttles asked us to develop a version that was a little better suited to their vehicles - so we created it.
- Third row seats in SUVs and minivans: Often these seats are also narrower.
Our Narrow Scuvver is available in our stylish Black/Grey and Asphalt/Grey colorways.
The Narrow Scuvver includes everything you need to protect one seat:
1 x Narrow Cover
1 x Harness (check the size guide to ensure correct fit for your headrest)
Tech specs:
- The Narrow cover is 480mm (19in) wide, compared with 600mm (23.6in) for our Classic version.
- The width of the cover is the only difference between the Narrow and Classic version, so Covers are still interchangeable between Harnesses.
- Extremely strong and durable - Scuvvers are made from our proprietary 3-layer bonded fabric
- Made from 100% post-consumer recycled textile
- Completely waterproof
- High quality silicone non-slip backing, so your Scuvvers stay in place
- Machine washable
- Stows into pouch, which is detachable from the headrest harness

If your car seats have headrests that are separate from the main body of the seat (usually mounted on two posts so you can adjust the headrest height), then Scuvvers are compatible with your car.
If your car’s headrests are integrated with the seats but there is an opening for the Scuvvers strap to pass through, then Scuvvers still may work with your car but get in touch with us to check.
Scuvvers are very nearly universal, but because car headrests come in so many shapes and sizes, we had to create two sizes for the Harness.

Yes. Scuvvers are tested to a waterproof standard of 2000mm, so you can sit on your Scuvvers in your wetsuit, boardshorts or bikini without worrying about soaking your seats.
This doesn’t mean that water will never pass through the fabric, but it is made to repel water for a long time (more than 2 hours) before any penetrates.
